jonas,

some brilliant points there mate, you sound like a man after my own heart. thank you for that message you sent me earlier, that was a wicked story about the football team.

You should be really proud of the way they came together, and be proud of yourself for being such a positive influence and role model.

If more people shared your attitude and beliefs, this world would be a much better place.

thanks mate!

Thanks for your lovely comments guys!

Christopher: I am very happy to hear you agree with me. PTSA really is an awesome source for all
of us, and I think it will help a lot of people, me included!

Kaisa: I couldn't agree more. I have experienced it myself, and now I have definitely learnt how to appreciate the small things in life, and be grateful for what you got. But of course, you could always get more ;).

Dax: Thanks Coach :)

DaleK: Wow, I'm sorry to hear it hit you in such a hard way, but my guess is that you are a lot stronger now as a person, and have learned how to turn this event into something positive.

Sure, when we get kids and our own family, we probably tend to plan a bit for the future, but I just can't understand people who go through life working their *ss off so they can live the life they wanted when they are 65. It doesn't make sense to me!

Again, thanks for taking time to comment!

Cheers,
Jonas

Once upon a time I planned for my future, and then literally overnight those plans were changed - and not by me! I felt like I was a jar full of marbles that someone took and dumped all over the floor. Guess who had to pick them up?? ;)

That was quite a painful little OK HUGE life lesson! ;)

Most people spend their lives living in the past or the future - neither of which is reality. We can make plans but it just seems like most "plans" often rely on outside factors.

I tend to keep on eye on the horizon - just to make sure I'm headed in the direction I want to go. That's about all I can do!

Nice post. You've given me ideas to write about. Thanks!

Hi Jonas,
Great post. My favorite is that one about not appreciating things/people until they are gone. So simple, yet we make it so complicated. Good reminder. Thanks!
