Today on the bus…

I don’t know if I have mentioned it, but three days ago, me and a friend moved in to our new office in the middle of the city. Sure, it costs us a few bucks each month, but man do you become more productive in an environment like that.

I got in around 11 am and worked to 8 pm, and then I did something I haven’t done in a very long time; I took the evening bus home. I have to tell you, I have been quite spoiled since I have had the opportunity to take the car basically anywhere the last couple of months.

What I noticed was that I really enjoyed taking the bus. I took a pretty long walk to the bus stop, waited there for about 15 min and when I got off the bus a few hundred meters from home, I walked so slow people must have thought I was a maniac or something.

When I walked in through my front door, it took me about 10 min until I had the iPod in my ears and went for a short and super-intense workout.

Guess what I am doing tomorrow? Probably the exact same thing. To really get the most out of yourself, you need to find those moments where you are able to relax and breath in the moment. Find your special moment/routine and stick to it, even if it’s just for 15 min a day. Believe me – you need it!

Cheers,
Jonas
